Toe Pose

Start with the inner edges of the feet together. Have the toes spread wide and the arches lifted. Energize the legs by lifting the kneecaps. Place your left hand on your hip and grasp tightly. Catch the right big toe with the first two fingers of your right hand. Keeping focus on maintaining firmness in the standing leg. Now straighten your right leg out in front of you. Lift the leg as high as you can. Lift the chest at the same time. Make sure your buttocks is tucked under. Release and take the left side. Strengthens legs, excellent for balance. Tones abdominal organs and increases digestive juices, activates liver and spleen, helps with gastric problems and limbers spine. |
