Crescent Moon
(Ardha Chandrasana)

Start with your legs at least three feet apart. Turn the right foot out to the right. Turn the left foot in to the right. Keep both knees straight. Keep your hips facing forward. Lift your arms out to the sides. Tuck your tail in and keep your chest open. On an exhale, keeping your knees absolutely straight, bend at the waist to your right. Now slightly bend your right knee and reach your right hand out in front of your right foot. On an exhale lift the left leg and straighten the right knee at the same time. Look up and do your best to hold the balance. Slowly release and take the left side. Tones the buttock, leg, and hip muscles. Excellent for balance. Elevates your mood.
