The Shakti Mat™ can be used pretty much all over the body. From the spine, the nerves reach all parts of the body - which means that the effect on the back will affect the whole body. Place your Shakti Mat™ on the bed or on a soft surface. Use a neck pillow or a rolled up towel underneath the mat to support your neck.Lie in a comfortable position so that your skin rests in contact with the points. Relax and breathe deeply. Initially, 10-15 minutes spent on the mat may be enough, but you may gradually increase your sessions to 20-40 minutes. It is not dangerous to spend more time on the mat, or to fall asleep on the mat.
